Material Mastery: This is non-negotiable. Demand specifics:

Drop Stitch Core: The heart of rigidity. Density (weaves per square meter - higher is stiffer), yarn type (Polyester is standard, some use composite), and bonding technology (thermal welding is superior to glue) are critical. Understand their process for ensuring consistent tension and preventing delamination.

Glues & Seams: High-quality, solvent-based PVC glue and robust seam construction (overlap, double overlap, RF welded) are essential for air retention and longevity.

Construction Techniques:

Single Layer vs. Fusion/Fused Drop Stitch (MSL): Understand the pros/cons (weight, rigidity, durability, price) and what the factory specializes in. Fusion (where the PVC is laminated directly to the drop stitch) is becoming the premium standard for lightness and stiffness.

Rail Band Construction: How are the rails sealed? Wrapped rails offer better durability than glued strips.

Deck Pad Bonding: Permanent, non-slip EVA foam glued securely without bubbles or peeling edges.

Quality Control (QC): This separates the best from the rest. Ask detailed questions:
